This site is a set of static pages. It has no accounts, no comments, no forms and no newsletter, so it holds no personal data about you that you did not send by email.

What is collected

The web server keeps standard access logs (the address a request came from, the page asked for, the time, the browser's stated name) for a short rolling period, for the purpose of keeping the site running and noticing abuse. They are not shared or sold.

No analytics script is currently loaded and the site sets no cookies of its own.

Third parties

Pages link to other websites, including the two reference guides by the same author and the sources each post cites. Those sites have their own policies. Photographs are served from this site, not hotlinked.

If you write to [email protected], the message is kept as long as it is useful for answering it or fixing what it reports, and is not passed to anyone else.
