The two guides

The same person owns and writes two reference guides, Nha Trang Guide (https://nha-trang-guide.com) and Cam Ranh Guide (https://cam-ranh.com). Those sites compare hotels across booking platforms and carry affiliate links, which may earn a commission when a reader books through them at no extra cost to the reader. This guide links to them where a hotel or a hard practical fact is needed, and says so. It carries no affiliate links of its own.

Independence of the writing

Where a post says something is not worth the money, or that an island is closed, or that a road is dangerous in a season, that is the writer's view from the sources cited and from being there. It does not change because of any commercial relationship on any site.

Photographs and map data

Photographs are used under Creative Commons licences or from public-domain and free-licence sources, and the author and licence are shown beside each one, linking to the original. The map is drawn from OpenStreetMap data, © OpenStreetMap contributors, under the Open Database Licence.
